You can take an ECG at any time: when you’re feeling symptoms or when you have other concerns about your heart health.
There are four methods to take an ECG. The most convenient one is to place your palms on each side of the monitor where the ECG electrodes are placed. Other methods include holding the monitor with one hand and positioning it against your chest, stomach, or leg.
Position the monitor directly against the skin. Try to relax and minimize movement, preferably seated in a comfortable position. Make sure your skin and the ECG electrodes are clean and dry. Do not press too firmly, as it may result in a loss of signal quality.
With the Cardi Health Monitor powered on, press the grey Function button (next to the orange button) to start the ECG recording.
The Cardi Health app will display a visual representation of your heart's electrical signals. The measurement takes about 30 sec. When the measurement is completed, the reading will be displayed in both the Cardi Health monitor and the Cardi Health app.
